9th July 2003 - Ped Hauled Test Train
An early morning skive from work ensured a couple of shots of a pair of 31's on a test train from Derby RTC to Old Dalby.

11th-13th July 2003 - A Hectic Weekend
Friday saw a photo charter with a GWR theme organised by Russ Hillier at Barrow Hill which went on until 2am on Saturday morning. With just a couple of hours sleep, it was then off up to the Lake District for D345 on a railtour to Carlisle. I didn't get the 40 in sun on it's way north, and with hindsight I would have been better having a few more hours in bed before going out for the return of D345 which was captured in sun at Birkett Common and Golborne Junction. Sunday was a chill out day, but I did manage to get up early enough to get D123 on the 1030 goods train off Loughborough.

14th July 2003 - An Evening at Marston
Went to Marston for a single 37 on 4E25 and ended up with a pair!

     

 

18th July 2003 - Friday Tractor
37114 on the Corby trip.

 

19th-20th July 2003 - GCR(N) Diesel Gala
GCR(N) Diesels in action and a bonus tug at Barrow on Soar.

        

 

26th July 2003 - Lickey Climbers
A couple of trains climbing the famous Lickey Incline.
