4th April 2004 - West
Midlands Stuff
Went over to the West Midlands for the
Nuneaton drags and managed a nice loco portrait of large logo 'Grid' 56078
dumped on Saltley depot.
8th April 2004 - Pre-Work
Spoon
A special was run by Midland Mainline from
Derby to London St Pancras to celebrate the end of the Barlow trainshed at the
London terminus. 47355 powered the Derby to St Pancras and St Pancras to Derby
leg while 45112 worked a St Pancras to St Pancras via Corby and Leicester. The
only sunny shot I managed was of 47355 on the southbound leg in the morning
which I managed to do before going in to work.
12-13th April 2004 -
Nottingham Trams
On the 12th I took my wife shopping in
Nottingham and managed to get some photographs of the newly introduced
Nottingham Trams. I enjoyed my day so much that I went back for more the
following day!
17th April 2003 - Local
Sulzers
I was confined to barracks for most of the
day, but did manage to get out for a Nenta tour in the morning, and then out for
the Peak on the GCR in the evening.
24th April 2003 - Anglia
With the days of the 86's and EWS 90's on
Anglia services numbered, I decided a day in Anglia was needed. Thankfully,
there was plenty of sun and plenty to photograph.
