12th March 2005 - 37427 Mega
Miles, Mega Chase and only one shot!
With 37427 working a tour to Brentford and
Ardingly, this was a tour that could be chased and photted at numerous
locations. After nailing a GBRf 66 in sun at the first location, the day plummeted
downhill from then on, with nearly every shot being a near miss with the sun.
However, the going away shot at West Drayton in the late afternoon was the only
shot we got of this train in sun, which is miles better than going home empty
handed I suppose.
19th March 2005 - Thanks for
the Phone Call!
After heading to the Shrewsbury area for a
Cotswold 47 tour in full gloom, a phone call from a friend informed me that
South Wales was clear blue. So after a lengthy drive, the rest of the day was
spent in the Rhymney Valley where there was not a single cloud to be seen!
26th March 2005 - Another
Top Day in The Rhymney Valley
Another trip to the Rhymney Valley with sun
for most of the day.
