Cement Works
An EMRPS photo charter inside the industrial
complex of the Lafarge Cement Works at Hope. A massive thank you to Mervyn from
Barrow Hill for setting this up, and thanks too to James (our driver for the
day), to Lafarge and to the supporting photographers. This event not only raised
over £1000 for charity, but also afforded photographers many photographic
opportunities that they would otherwise never have got.
17th September 2005 - GCR
Diesel Gala
After the high of the previous day's Hope
Cement Works charter, I decided to stay local, which was just as well as it was
the GCR's September Diesel Gala. Nice to see 33116 back in action, but it did
sound a bit rough.
25th September 2005 -
Battlefield Line Diesel Gala
A quick trip over to Shackerstone to support
the diesel gala. The only sunny shots I managed were of the 31's at Shackerstone.
The recently repainted 31101 looked superb.
