4th March 2006 - Settle
& Carlisle Diversions
With a sprinkling of snow and plenty of sun,
the S&C was the place to be with one or two coal workings and a handful of
57/3 hauled diverted WCML services. Big thanks to Scott B for doing the driving,
and to Des, Ant, Bert and Scott for top company during the day.

Derby

18th March 2006 - Grid on
Stone
56057 was used to haul a heavy stone train
along the length of the Nene Valley Railway, and despite the overcast weather,
this just had to be witnessed. It's been a long while since I last heard a grid
making this much noise!
25th March 2006 - Local
Tours
With quite a few railtours in the Midlands, I
stayed local and got lucky with the sun.
31st March 2006 - Desperate
Late Night Move
Made a very desperate move to Peterborough
for a night shot of 33207 and 33029 returning on a railtour from Aberystwyth.
