It is not often that I will make a move especially for a 66, but the use of a hired in Direct Rail Services loco on a Freightliner Heavy Haul coal train was unusual and worth recording. The fact that there was diddly squat else to photograph that evening and it was almost totally clear blue may have also helped sway my decision!
