69004 is painted in a version of the BR Research Department livery as a tribute to the Old Dalby test track, now known as RIDC Melton.
The loco visited the test track in order to be named as part of a friends and families day and is captured on the day of its arrival at the
Asfordby Test Centre in company with 801101, 47749 and 387101. The loco's nameplates were fitted but covered over.
