Brush Cars
Built by Brush of Loughborough in 1937,
these single deck cars are now much reduced in numbers, but there are still a
few in regular service.

Railcoaches
Originally built in 1935, the English
Electric Railcoaches were rebuilt between 1959 and 1961 and paired up with newly
built trailer cars (see Twin Cars). However, three of these have subsequently
lost their trailer vehicles and operate singularly (678-680).

Twin Cars
Originally built in 1935, the English
Electric Railcoaches were rebuilt between 1959 and 1961 and paired up with newly
built trailer cars. The railcoaches can be used to either haul or push the
trailer cars. Five of the twins remain in traffic.
