With the District line closed west of South Kensington due to engineering work at Earl's Court, the Piccadilly Line provided a service
to intermediate stations between Hammersmith and Acton Town by running all Uxbridge branch trains along the local lines so that they
could call all stations. In this view, 172-572-372 brings up the rear of a Heathrow Terminal 5 bound service which is about to pass through
Chiswick Park on the westbound fast. It is overtaking an unidentified sister unit which is working an Uxbridge bound service along the
westbound local and is about to call at Chiswick Park.
